06/29/2016: An explosive device detonated near a Central Security Forces (CSF) vehicle in Rafah, North Sinai, Egypt. At least one officer was killed and two conscripts were wounded in the blast. This was one of two attacks targeting the same officers in North Sinai on this date. The Sinai Province of the Islamic State claimed responsibility for the incident.
