06/29/2016: Assailants opened fire on Crispin Posadas Jr. in Isabela, Negros Occidental, Philippines. Posadas Jr., a village councilor, was killed in the assault. The New People's Army (NPA) claimed responsibility for the attack and stated that the victim was targeted because he was a military informant and was also involved in illegal activities.
