06/00/2016: Sometime between June 26, 2016 and July 2, 2016, assailants abducted Sami Hussein, a civilian, from Sheikh Zuweid, North Sinai, Egypt. Hussein was beheaded shortly after the kidnapping. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Sinai Province of the Islamic State, noting that the victim was accused of working with security forces.
