07/26/2016: Two assailants opened fire on a military vehicle in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. At least two soldiers were killed in the assault. The Jamaat-ul-Ahrar faction of Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility for the attack; however, officials questioned the veracity of this claim. Sources also attributed the incident to Lashkar-e-Jhangvi.
