09/05/2016: Assailants abducted six Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) aid workers in Masisi district, North Kivu, Democratic Republic of the Congo. The six hostages were released on September 8, 2016. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Nyatura militia.
