09/11/2016: A suicide bomber detonated an explosives-laden vehicle at a police station in Wadea, Abyan, Yemen. In addition to the assailant, at least six police officers were killed and 15 officers were injured in the blast. Al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) claimed responsibility for the incident.
