Incident Summary:

09/13/2016: A suicide bomber detonated at a Shia mosque in Khanpur subdistrict, Sindh, Pakistan. A second assailant was arrested at the scene. In addition to the bomber, at least one police officer was killed and two others were injured in the blast. This was one of two coordinated suicide bombings in Khanpur on the same day. The Jamaat-ul-Ahrar faction of Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility for the attacks. Sources also attributed the incidents to Lashkar-e-Jhangvi.
