Incident Summary:

09/18/2016: Assailants, including suicide bombers, attacked a military headquarters in Uri, Jammu and Kashmir, India. At least 24 people, including 20 soldiers and four assailants, were killed and 17 other soldiers were injured in the ensuing clash. Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) claimed responsibility for the incident. Sources also suspected that the attack may have been carried out by Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM).
