09/30/2016: An explosive device detonated near a Turkish Armed Forces (TSK) vehicle along Sirnak-Cizre Highway in Cizre district, Sirnak, Turkey. At least three soldiers were killed and another was injured in the blast. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).

Successful Attack
Success of a terrorist strike is defined according to the tangible effects of the attack.
