Incident Summary:

10/19/2016: Assailants physically assaulted six civilians and then tied them to a vehicle and dragged them behind it in Safinah, Nineveh, Iraq. It is unknown if the victims were killed in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), noting the victims were related to an anti-ISIL tribal leader.
