Incident Summary:

10/28/2016: Assailants opened fire on an Indian Army patrol in Kupwara district, Jammu and Kashmir, India. One assailant was killed and one soldier was beheaded in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources suspected that Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) carried out the attack.
