Incident Summary:

11/09/2016: Assailants kidnapped supporters of Ibrahim Jodran, the head of the Petroleum Facilities Guard (PFG), in Bin Jawad, Sirte, Libya. This was one of two related raids on the same day. At least 17 people were abducted across both of the attacks. The outcome of the abductions is unknown. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Justice and Equality Movement (JEM).
