Incident Summary:
11/27/2016: Assailants opened fire on the vehicle of Faiz Shirgri in Aladdin Park neighborhood, Karachi, Pakistan. Shirgri, a Pakistan Traffic Police deputy superintendent, was killed and at least two people, including an assailant, were injured in the assault. This was one of three related attacks in different Karachi neighborhoods on the same day. The Jamaat-ul-Ahrar faction of Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and Lashkar-e-Jhangvi separately claimed responsibility for the incident.
