11/28/2016: Assailants opened fire on a village guard patrol in Silvan, Diyarbakir, Turkey. At least one village guard was killed and one guard was injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).
