11/28/2016: Assailants attempted to extort money from fishermen off the coast of Bolong, Zamboanga del Sur, Philippines. Security forces intervened, killing two assailants. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG).
