Incident Summary:

12/03/2016: Assailants opened fire on Abu Tawila army checkpoint in Sheikh Zuweid, North Sinai, Egypt. At least three assailants were killed and two soldiers were injured in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Sinai Province of the Islamic State.
