12/04/2016: Security forces discovered and defused a number of explosives-rigged Korans planted outside of civilian houses in Kanaos, Nineveh, Iraq. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the unsuccessful attack to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
