12/09/2016: Assailants opened fire on a vehicle transporting Panamtaon Mantikayan in Banisilan, North Cotabato, Philippines. At least two people were killed and five others, including Mantikayan, a local village chairperson, were injured in the assault. No group claimed responsibility for the attack.

Criteria
Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.
Criterion 2
