Incident Summary:

12/11/2016: A suicide bomber detonated an explosives-laden vehicle near a security checkpoint in Halabsah, Al Anbar, Iraq. In addition to the assailant, at least one person was killed and five people were injured in the blast; the victims included civilians and security personnel. This was one of two coordinated attacks in the area on the same day. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the incidents.
