12/15/2016: An explosive device detonated targeting military personnel in Mogadishu, Banaadir, Somalia. At least six soldiers were killed and 12 people, including soldiers and civilians, were injured in the blast. This was one of two related attacks in Mogadishu on this date. Al-Shabaab claimed responsibility for the incidents.
