12/19/2016: An explosive device detonated as assailants were planting it in Asmar, Kunar, Afghanistan. Five assailants were killed and two assailants were injured in the blast. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources also attributed the attack to Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT).
