12/22/2016: Assailants abducted Shu Nar Myar in Rakhine, Myanmar. Myar, a Bengali librarian, was beheaded and his body was discovered the following day. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Rohingya extremists.
