12/22/2016: Security forces identified and opened fire on two suicide bombers targeting a military base in Galmeri village, near Mafa, Borno, Nigeria. The assailants detonated, killing themselves and injuring three civilians. This was one of two similar attacks in the area on the same day. No group claimed responsibility for the incidents.
