Incident Summary:

12/31/2016: Assailants attacked Sayad district in Sar-e Pul, Afghanistan. At least seven assailants and two security members were killed and 12 assailants were injured in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
