Incident Summary:

01/06/2017: Assailants opened fire on Pakistan Traffic Police officers near Five Star Chowrangi in North Nazimabad neighborhood, Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. At least one civilian was killed and an officer was injured in the assault. This was one of two attacks carried out by the same assailants on this date. No group claimed responsibility; however, officials attributed the incidents to Al-Qaida in the Indian Subcontinent and Lashkar-e-Jhangvi.
