Incident Summary:

01/11/2017: Assailants opened fire on a Central Security Forces (CSF) vehicle in front of Al-Arish Hospital in Arish, North Sinai, Egypt. At least three officers were killed and two others were injured in the assault. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the Sinai Province of the Islamic State.
