Incident Summary:

01/16/2017: Assailants armed with brass knuckles and a knife stormed the Northern Municipality office in Aali, Northern region, Bahrain. The assailants held five employees hostage and detonated gas cylinders inside the office. There were no reported casualties in the attack and the hostages were released later the same day. No group claimed responsibility for the incident.
