02/02/2017: Assailants detonated an explosive device and opened fire on a Hizam Brigade vehicle in Lawdar, Abyan, Yemen. At least six Hizam Brigade members were killed in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP).
