02/05/2017: Assailants abducted Colonel Abdullah Khader Hussein in Khudayrah, Abyan, Yemen. Hussein, a Presidential Defense Forces officer, was shot and killed a few hours after the kidnapping. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Al-Qaida in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP).
