Incident Summary:

02/21/2017: Two assailants opened fire on Sergeant Zaldy Caliman's vehicle near Guindulungan, Maguindanao, Philippines. Caliman, a military officer, was killed and his wife was injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Movement (BIFM).
