Incident Summary:

02/21/2017: Assailants opened fire on United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in the Central African Republic (MINUSCA) personnel in Ippy, Ouaka, Central African Republic. At least two assailants were killed and four peacekeepers were injured in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Popular Front for the Renaissance of the Central African Republic (FPRC).
