02/26/2017: Assailants abducted Manoj Kumar Mahto, a construction company driver, in Hazaribagh district, Jharkhand, India. The hostage was rescued by security forces the following day on February 27th, 2017. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however sources attributed the kidnapping to Maoists.
