03/08/2017: An explosive device detonated near a Central Security Forces (CSF) vehicle on Ayut Street in Arish, North Sinai, Egypt. Yassir al-Hadidi, a CSF colonel, was killed and at least two other officers were injured in the blast. The Sinai Province of the Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attack.
