03/15/2017: Assailants abducted Abdullah Jan and his driver along Brewery Road in Wahdat Colony neighborhood, Quetta, Balochistan, Pakistan. The driver was injured and released that day while Jan, the Federal Ministry of Education Secretary for Higher Education, was released on July 26, 2017. No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
