03/17/2017: Assailants opened fire on Andrew Felix Kaweesi, the Assistant Inspector General of the Uganda Police Force, in Kampala, Central region, Uganda. Kaweesi and two others were killed in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF).
