Incident Summary:

03/21/2017: Assailants raided Yasseneme, Ouaka, Central African Republic. This was one of three related attacks targeting villages in Bambari district on this date. At least 50 people were killed and dozens were injured across the three assaults. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the incidents to the Union for Peace in Central Africa (UPC), which denied involvement and stated that the Popular Front for the Renaissance of the Central African Republic (FPRC) had carried out the attacks.
