04/02/2017: Assailants opened fire on Benjamin Falangon Challoy in Eyeb neighborhood, Bontoc, Mountain Province, Philippines. Challoy, a Highway Patrol Group (HPG) chief inspector, was killed in the assault. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources suspected that the attack was carried out by the New People's Army (NPA).
