04/09/2017: Assailants abducted an unknown number of civilians in Ikorodu, Lagos, Nigeria. When security forces responded, the assailants opened fire, killing six people, including one civilian. At least nine hostages were rescued while the fate of the remaining victims is unknown. No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
