Incident Summary:

04/09/2017: Assailants, including suicide bombers in two explosives-laden vehicles, attacked the joint Iraqi Army and Desert Hawks Brigade border crossing in Waleed, Al Anbar, Iraq. At least 23 people, including three soldiers and 20 assailants, were killed in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the incident to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
