04/10/2017: Assailants opened fire on an Egyptian Armed Forces checkpoint south of Arish, North Sinai, Egypt. At least seven assailants were killed and 12 other assailants were injured in the ensuing clash. The Sinai Province of the Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attack.
