04/11/2017: Assailants abducted Khalid Bibas, the acting director of the Civil Registry Authority, and a colleague in Tripoli, Libya. Bibas was released on April 13, 2017, and the fate of the remaining hostage is unknown. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Bab Tajura Brigade.
