04/14/2017: An explosive device detonated targeting security forces in Catak district, Van, Turkey. Two people, including a soldier and a village guard, were killed and an unknown number of people were injured in the blast. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however sources attributed the attack to the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK).
