Incident Summary:

04/20/2017: Assailants abducted Anni Siraji from Patikul district, Sulu, Philippines. Siraji, a soldier and former member of the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF), was beheaded and his body was discovered on April 23, 2017. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG).
