04/22/2017: Assailants opened fire on a military patrol in Hayatpora, Jammu and Kashmir, India. Two assailants were killed in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT).

Criteria 1

Successful Attack
Success of a terrorist strike is defined according to the tangible effects of the attack.
