Incident Summary:

04/25/2017: Assailants dressed as Federal Police officers opened fire on civilians who rushed out to greet them in Old City, Mosul, Nineveh, Iraq. At least 17 people were kiled and nine other people were abducted in the assault. The outcome of the kidnapping is unknown. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
