Incident Summary:

04/27/2017: A suicide bomber detonated an explosives-laden vehicle targeting a military convoy in Mangugum, Borno, Nigeria. In addition to the assailant, five soldiers were killed and 40 soldiers were injured in the blast. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the Al-Barnawi faction of Boko Haram, also known as the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP).
