Incident Summary:
04/27/2017: Assailants attacked Nyatura Militia fighters in Kivuye, North Kivu, Democratic Republic of the Congo. This was one of two coordinated assaults in the area overnight. At least 26 Hutu civilians were killed across both attacks. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the incidents to the National Council for Revival and Democracy (CNRD).

Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.
Criterion 2
