04/30/2017: Assailants attacked Taliban positions in Spin Jumat, Nangarhar, Afghanistan. This was one of two related attacks in the area on this date. At least 31 people, including seven assailants, 21 Taliban members, and three civilians were killed and five civilians were injured across both attacks. The Khorasan Chapter of the Islamic State claimed responsibility for the incident.
