04/30/2017: Assailants attempted to extort food and money from civilians in Tumdiwal, Chhattisgarh, India. When the victims refused to pay the extortion, the assailants forced them from their residence. No casualties were reported in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Maoists.
