Incident Summary:

05/02/2017: Assailants armed with projectiles and firearms attacked an Iraqi Army headquarters in Sakkara, Al Anbar, Iraq. At least 16 people, including 10 soldiers and six assailants, were killed and six other soldiers and an unknown number of assailants were injured in the ensuing clash. The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the incident.
